An untold story of green life

🍃 Leaf Diary: An Unspoken Story of Green Life

Chapter 1: Birth

One morning, the sun rises. A small bud on a tree branch opens its eyes and looks at the world. After a few days, that bud turns into a green leaf. A nameless, unknown new life—a leaf.

The leaf did not know how short its life would be. But it did not care. It smiles in the sun, sways in the wind, drinks raindrops and gives life back to the tree.

Chapter 2: Work

The leaf is not only green, it is also a worker.

It converts sunlight into energy—which is called “photosynthesis.” Every branch, trunk, flower, and fruit of the tree—everything depends on it. It works silently.

Everything we eat, the oxygen we breathe—all are gifts from this leaf.

The leaf makes no demands, asks for no reward. It just gives, and gives.

 Chapter 3: Change

Times change. Summer passes, monsoon comes, winter comes. Dryness takes hold of the leaf's body. Its green color changes to yellow, sometimes red. It falls in the wind—silently, without complaint.

However, the fall of a leaf does not mean its end. It mixes with the soil. Its dead body returns to the soil of the tree as fertilizer.

A leaf dies, but its life's impact lasts for hundreds of years.

Chapter 4: Education

We can learn from the leaves of a tree:

What is selfless love?

How to do great things in a short time?

Doing your own work is the greatest religion.

And there is no such thing as "the end"—everything is a new beginning.

📌 Last word:

A simple leaf—the one we neglect, trample underfoot—is the one that saves our lives, makes the world habitable.

The next time you look at a tree, take a moment to look at the leaf. Hidden within it are thousands of years of nature's knowledge, love, and signs of self-sacrifice.

Below is the second part (Part-2) of the article “Leaf Diary”. It will lead to the next step of the first part—the experience of the leaf, its relationship with human life, and a deeper philosophy.

🍃 Leaf Diary (Part Two): Farewell Song with the Wind

Chapter 5: The Moment of Falling

One afternoon, a light breeze blew. Clouds in the sky, birds were returning home. The leaf felt that its time was up.

It has no regrets, no remorse.

It thought,

“I have given as much as I could.

I have transformed the sunlight into life,

I was the soul of the tree, the breath of man,

And today... I will return to the ground.”

At the moment of falling, it looked at the sky, the branches, the neighboring leaves, and the little bird—who often sat on it. Everything was singing a farewell song.

Chapter 6: The Story of the Soil

When the leaf fell to the ground, its story did not end.

The earth accepted him like a loving mother. His body rotted and merged with the soil.

After a few months, a new sapling was born there.

That sapling grew again into a tree. And on the branch of that tree... a new leaf was born.

This new leaf did not know that the memory of the old leaf was hidden inside it.

Life is like this - the new is born from the roots of the old.

Chapter 7: A message to people

The leaf has left a gentle message for us from its silent self-questioning:

“You are running in a race to get everything, but what are you giving to this world?

I have not received anything, I have only given. But I have received peace.

Can’t you also stop for a moment, take a breath, and plant a tree?”

The leaf does not say this directly - it says it in the sound of the wind, the call of birds, or the rustling sound of dry leaves.

 Chapter 8: Living Forever

A leaf may fall, disappearing from sight.

But its work remains. Its impact remains within life.

A teacher, a mother, a farmer or a common man—those who give selflessly are like leaves.

They may leave, but their contribution remains.

📌 Conclusion:

Every leaf in the world teaches us—

“No matter how big your life is, if it can give a little shade to someone, then only then are you successful.”

If you can understand the life of a leaf, then you will find the true meaning of life one day.
